An unmonitored (or “bells-only”) alarm sounds an audible alert when triggered. A monitored system connects to an alarm receiving centre that responds on your behalf, 24/7. For businesses, monitored systems are often a requirement for commercial insurance. For domestic properties, the choice depends on your circumstances and budget. We’ll advise during your survey.

What alarm brands do you install?

We are approved installers for Jablotron, Texecom, and Pyronix. These are all Grade 2 and Grade 3 compliant systems suitable for domestic and commercial use. We can also service and repair other brands.

How often should an intruder alarm be serviced?

For commercial properties, annual servicing is standard, with many insurers and monitoring contracts requiring a minimum of one service per year. Some environments warrant bi-annual servicing. Domestic systems should be checked at least once a year. We provide a service certificate after every visit.

Can you take over maintenance of an existing alarm system?
